PLEASE CONTACT TO ARRANGE A PRE-SEASON TRIAL

North Herts College Football Academy is a well established post 16 Football and Education programme catering for school leavers aged between 16-19 years old, who have a desire to continue both their academic studies and football education. We specialise in the delivery of football coaching and a competitive games programme, partnered with Biggleswade Town FC (www.biggleswadetownfc.co.uk) as well as links into professional football clubs. Your full time academic studies will take place at North Hertfordshire College and training will be based between Valley Sports Football Academy and NHC.

For 2010-11 teams have been entered into the Football Conference Youth Alliance, the revolutionary Herts County Intermediate League, an age and ability specific under 21 League as well as teams in the British College's Sports League.

Players can expect 6 hours (3x2hr sessions) coaching every week, plus competitive matches linked to attendance and application to training sessions. The training timetable has been linked closly to an education framework carefully planned by the College to suit the requirements of a physically demanding and challenging course.

Students of all academic levels will be considered

The squad finished in 2nd place in the Football Conference Youth Alliance and will aim to go one better this time. Former Academy player Luke Hacker signed a two year YTS contract with Brentford FC following an excellent string of performances for this team.

Trials will be held throughout the pre season and applications will be considered up until the end of September 2010.
